On behalf of Društvo Sonce v Srcu za prostovoljno pomoč, I would like to take the opportunity to commend Stane Omerzu and his company RACOON D.O.O. for multiple achievements in his very specialized field of work.

 

We understand that "RACOON" is making headway in various arenas that will greatly improve tourism within Slovenia, including the filming and producing of various documentaries, and writing books related to fishing and nature within Slovenia and abroad. Mr. Omerzu is also the organiser of many events related to sport fishing and fishing tourism. These events are held on a national and international level and have been highly successful in bringing key people together and generating ideas and progress in the industry of Fishing and Tourism. We do not know of any other firm working as effectively to accomplish this.

 

Mr. Omerzu has shown tremendous initiative and the ability to work efficiently and quickly to reach his goals; this has been a great support to us in our collaborations together, and has enabled us to complete needed projects. - "Sonce v Srcu" (Sun in the Heart) is a volunteer project and a branch of "The Family International".

Since April 2005, we have reopened a center in Slovenia, thus enabling our volunteers to assist institutions and schools with educational, musical and theatrical programs with high moral & character building themes such as Drug Prevention, as well as encouraging students in their usage of the English language. A youth club with vocational, performing arts, community service & leadership training courses is also underway. As a Christian based organization our volunteer activities reflect our beliefs and the message of God's love.-
